INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING
Whether you're looking to reduce waste or to improve efficiency based on data,
Lean and Six Sigma contain the keys to success.
Lean thinking is a continuous improvement discipline which analyzes the flow of product, materials, people, information and the systematic elimination of “waste”. By reducing the level of 'waste', the process becomes more efficient and effective.
The eight sources of waste are: over-production, defects, inventory, over-processing, transportation, waiting, motion and underutilized people.
Within the Six Sigma philosophy, a defect is regarded as anything which causes internal or external customer dissatisfaction or prevents any part of the process from performing flawlessly. The higher the Sigma level of a process, the lower the number of defects it produces.
This is achieved by following the DMAIC methodology which is Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control.
WHY LEAN SIX SIGMA?
How Far Should I Progress?
The Lean Six Sigma White Belt is the starting point for anyone beginning the Lean Six Sigma journey. It is also for anyone wishing to gain an awareness, understand the benefits and principles of Lean Six Sigma and be equipped to participate on Yellow and Green Belt Belt process improvement teams.
The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt builds upon the White Belt and further equips participants to identify improvement opportunities, facilitate Kaizen events, construct SIPOC, VSMs and process flow maps. Yellow Belts will further their understanding of the DMAIC framework (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve Control).
Continuing to build upon the Yellow Belt Body of Knowledge, the Green Belt will dive deeper into Six Sigma and each phase of the DMAIC framework (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) and will learn best practices for identifying which tools from the Lean and Six Sigma toolboxes to use in different situations.
The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is an expert in both Lean and Six Sigma. They identify opportunities across the organization and often lead cross-departmental projects. They are full time project leaders who can serve as coaches and mentors for Yellow and Green Belts within the organization. Black Belts are highly sought after improvement professionals who provide substantial value to their organization.

"Thanks for a great session! I thought the course ran quite well considering the change to a virtual session.
I was happy with how EZSigma structured the learning with the mix of individual work/group breakouts, and I thought that worked well in the virtual setting. You are able to make statistics relatable for those of us who are new to the subject, so I really appreciated that."

We recommend selecting the belt level based on your commitment to working on projects. Therefore, if you work on project approx. 50% of the time the Green Belt is a great option. If you work on projects 100% of the time we recommend the Black Belt. If you are a project team member or are looking to learn the fundamentals we recommend the Yellow Belt.
